The Apex revolutionized frame design with its interlocking carbon key. In a typical frame, the arms are held only by bolts; in the Apex, a central carbon key distributes the forces of a crash across the entire frame, preventing arm slop and protecting your flight electronics.
Maintenance is simplified through its Decoupled Stack Mounting. Unlike most frames where the arm bolts also hold your FC/ESC stack, the Apex uses independent countersunk bolts for the electronics. This means you can replace a broken arm by removing just two bolts—without touching your stack or removing any nuts.
