The ER6 is the versatile workhorse of the RadioMaster PWM lineup.5 While the smaller ER4 is built for weight savings, the ER6 is built for redundancy and performance. The dual-antenna system utilizes diversity switching to ensure the receiver always has the best possible signal path, significantly reducing the risk of “shadowing” caused by carbon fiber, batteries, or engines.
The receiver includes an EXT-V telemetry port, which allows you to monitor your aircraft’s main flight battery (4V to 35V) directly on your transmitter’s screen. If no external voltage is connected, it automatically reverts to monitoring the receiver’s input voltage (RxBt). Additionally, the ER6 features a dedicated 4-wire CRSF interface, allowing for easy expansion with GPS modules or other telemetry sensors.
Key Performance Highlights:
-
True Diversity Antennas: Dual 20cm high-sensitivity antennas ensure a reliable link at any aircraft orientation, critical for aerobatics and long-range flight.
-
100mW Telemetry Power: Adjustable telemetry power (via LUA script) ensures your radio receives link quality and battery data even when the aircraft is miles away.
-
Advanced Voltage Sensing: Automatically switches between internal Rx voltage and external flight battery voltage (up to 8S LiPo) via the included JST-GH cable.
-
One-Piece Molded Housing: The ruggedized shell provides high structural integrity, protecting the PCB from the vibration and impacts common in fixed-wing flight.
-
Future-Proof Connectivity: Supports Wi-Fi updates and features a CRSF/SBUS serial output port for connection to flight controllers if needed.
-
High PWM Frequency Support: Supports standard 50Hz for analog servos and up to 400Hz for high-performance digital servos.
